Burnside City United fields teams in the South Australian Uniting Church Netball Association (SAUCNA) competition. Age groups are based on a player’s year of birth as at 31 December 2026:

• Under 8: 2018 & 2019

• Under 9: 2017

• Under 11: 2015 & 2016

• Under 13: 2013 & 2014

• Under 15: 2011 & 2012

• Under 17: 2009 & 2010

• Opens: 2008

Yes we will be holding trials and will let you know of the date(s).

Burnside City Netball Club holds trials so we can assess team selections and make team grading recommendations to SAUCNA. Trials ensure players have opportunities to train and play with others at similar levels of skill and experience.

Sometimes we receive requests for friends or family members to play in the same team. We will assist if feasible. However if the players are best suited to different teams, cannot compromise all the the other players in the team, or have a player missing out on a coveted spot.

Games commence on 28 March for teams in a grade with 6 teams. All other games commence on 11 April.

Grand finals take place on 22 August.

Teams train over winter at various locations, we will advise closer to season commencement.

Season Registration for Juniors is $150

Under 17 and Opens registration is $175

Uniforms are sold via PlayHQ. They can be purchased during the registration process.

Juniors play home and away matches at suburban courts on Saturday afternoons at 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm. U8 & U9 often play in the early timeslot (12.00pm).

• Home games are at Bell Yet Reserve - Stonyfell Rd, Wattle Park

• Away games are played at the opposition team’s home courts

Match information, including fixtures, results and ladders, can be found on PlayHQ (you'll need to log in). However we recommend downloading the NetballHQ app. It's much easier to use.

Matches are played at the SAUCNA Courts, corner Anzac Highway and Goodwood Road.

Games times are Saturday afternoons at 12.00pm, 1.30pm, 3.00pm and 4.30pm.

We are a small club, entirely run by volunteers. We are always on the lookout for coaches, and likewise always have a couple of Committee roles available.

Even if you can't get involved in a formal capacity, there are plenty of ways to roll up your sleeves and help out. All volunteers must have a current Working with Children Check.
